  • After the cycle is complete, the test pack is removed and examined.

  • If the sterilizer is working properly, the chemical indicator on the test sheet will show a uniform color change, indicating that air was successfully removed and steam penetrated the entire pack.
  • If the sterilizer has failed to remove air properly, the test sheet will show uneven or incomplete color changes, indicating the presence of air pockets and insufficient sterilization.
